Innovation Projects

Minerva Innovation Competition –

The Innovation Committee wants to utilize the power of individual library staff within Minerva to create measurable and replicable programs with new ways to serve our communities and each other. To that end, we launched the Minerva Innovation Competition in 2019, a three year pilot program to see if we could generate brilliant ideas from among our members.

Minerva High Demand Collection –

The project seeks to purchase additional copies of highly demanded items to contribute to the Minerva system. The goal is to reduce patron wait times for popular titles, shorten the length of time until a popular title in available on local library shelves, and maximize the investment of funds by turning dollars into circs.
