any tag and field valid. \u00a0\u00a0PPL has added a y MARC field group. \u00a0Colby, Bowdoin and URSUS already have a y field group. \u00a0Sara will check with Bates.<br \/>\nWorking with III to explore:<br \/>\nDisplay in local catalogs and union catalog, including |u.<br \/>\nExport tables for Marc Holdings Records &#8211; Attachment 3 &#8211; Metadata Guidelines<\/a> \u00a0The field definitions vary slightly from the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.loc.gov\/marc\/holdings\/hd583.html\"> LC definition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In summary we are talking about adding 3 marc tags to the item records:<\/p>\n<p>583 \u00a0&#8211; one or two instances, \u2018committed to retain\u2019 and possibly a \u2018condition reviewed\u2019<br \/>\n852 &#8211; OCLC shared print symbol in a subfield a<br \/>\n856 &#8211; URL explaining project, for display in III. \u00a0Might not be necessary if III can display 583 |u<\/p>\n<p>4) Next Steps<\/p>\n<p>Sara will ask Project Team: \u00a0MSCS -&gt; Maine SCS?
