Other Committees

The Innovation Committee assesses needs for expanded resources and services and investigates existing and emerging technologies to enhance the Minerva library patron experience.   Chair:  Sophie Smith, ssmith@york.lib.me.us 

The Financial Sustainability Committee helps facilitate responsible stewardship of Minerva’s finances and identifies tactics to ensure the ongoing financial sustainability of the consortium.  Chair:  Shelly Davis, davisshelly@husson.edu

The Communications and Marketing Committee pursues the goal of efficient, effective communications both internally and externally and facilitates awareness of Minerva in member communities. Co-Chairs:  Louise Jolliffe, ljolliffe@orono.org and Sarah Schultz-Nielsen, sarah@lithgowlibrary.org

The Membership Committee strategically identifies and recruits new members; promotes awareness of the process to join and the responsibilities of being a member of the consortium; and facilitates the application and review process for new members, making recommendations to the Executive Board.  Additionally, the Membership Committee coordinates the on-boarding experience of new members.  Chair:  Jen Alvino,  jaalvino@windhammaine.us
