On the Home Page you can link to all areas of the PAC via the homepage.

To begin searching

  1. Place the cursor in the Quick library search field.
  2. Enter the search terms.
  3. Click the magnifying glass (search) button to search the catalog, or click Anywhere, Title, or Author for a narrower search.

Additional Searches

  •  Select the Search drop-down in the navigation menu under the logo and click one of the additional search options available.      –OR
  •  Click on one of the options at the bottom of the page under Search.

Advanced Search

When using the Advanced Search index you can narrow or modify your search.

  1. Next to Find, select the Any Field drop-down arrow to choose a search field.
  2. Enter the search terms or phrase in the field text box. Adjust the conditions (And, Or, Not) and enter additional terms as needed.
  3. More search criteria options available:
    1. Select the Add or exclude another set of search terms plus sign to include further search criteria.
    2. Select the Limit by drop-down menu to limit by specific formats.
    3. Select the More Search Options link to narrow the search by Libraries, Publication Dates, Detailed Material Types, Target Audiences, Collections, and Languages.
  4. Select Go! to run the search or Clear to begin again.

Requesting an Item

  1. Search for the item of interest using the directions from above.
  2. A request can be done in several ways:
    • From the results screen
      • Logged in –
        • Place Request
          At the Place a request screen, the Barcode will be hashed except for the last 4 digits and the Pickup Library will be set. Adjust the Activation Date only if the request should  activate in the future. Otherwise, leave the Activation Date as is and select Submit Request.
        • One-Click Request
          Clicking the One-Click Request button will place an immediate request for the title. This is only available when the patron is logged into the PAC.
      • Not logged in –
        • Place a Request
          At the Place a request screen, enter the patron Barcode and PIN. Then click the Log In button. Once logged in, the Barcode will be hashed except for the last 4 digits and the Pickup Library will be set. Adjust the Activation Date only if the request should  activate in the future. Otherwise, leave the Activation Date as is and select Submit Request.
    • From the record view –
      • Logged in –
        • Place Request

Log Into Your Library Account

  1. To view your library account, click the Log In link at the top right of the screen.
  2. Enter the barcode and PIN.
  3. Click the Log In button.
